EAU CLAIR, January 18 — Nestlé Health Science announced Wednesday a $43 million manufacturing expansion at its Eau Claire facility, creating 60 new jobs.
“This investment will add two new production lines to increase production of high-demand ready-to-drink consumer products,” the company said in a news release. “The facility manufactures a range of medical nutrition products, including tube feedings, as well as energy drinks under brands such as BOOST and Carnation Breakfast Essentials.”

Community leaders applauded the investment. Mayor Stephanie Hirsch said this was her second major investment in the factory in the last two years.

In December 2020, Switzerland-based Nestlé announced a $50 million investment to expand one of its facilities in Eau Claire. Andy Neborak, executive director of the United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley and member of the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce, said it was good news for the community.
“Whenever a job that pays competitive wages comes to a community, it strengthens the community as a whole,” Nebolak said.
