Remember the rumors that former Nebraska football head coach Scott Frost was a candidate for Arizona State University? Not for what Huskers fans thought.
Scott Frost seems very interested in life in Arizona. The former Nebraska football head coach didn’t care if there were new jobs lined up to move there.
According to Azcentral.com, Frost has just made quite a few alterations to purchase what can only be described as a Phoenix mansion. The purchase was notable for the amount of money spent on real estate in the area.
Frost reportedly spent $5.4 million on his and his wife’s new home, but they seem to be getting pretty good value for their money. It has 5 bedrooms and 5 and a half bathrooms.
The former Nebraska football coach’s new home also features a media room, exercise room, and huge closet in the primary suite and butler’s pantry. Note that the mention of large closets is part of the list and not something I wanted to draw particular attention to in this article.
Why that was a selling point, you might joke.
Past Nebraska Football Moves…Literally
That he bought a house in a prime golf area could also start an avalanche of jokes. After the former Nebraska football coach was fired, there was quite a bit of talk that he preferred going golfing to working on improving his team towards the end of his term.
I have to wonder if this move belies some real issues that began at the end of Scott Frost’s time at Lincoln. Do you have sex? There was indeed a story that when Bill Moose once offered a job, he had second thoughts. It shows that I wouldn’t want to be here without it.
It’s not a strike against the former Nebraska football head coach. But was it always in the back of his mind? At this point, it’s debatable, but interesting to ponder.
